The savings account for sight deposits (a vista account) is opened for the following purposes:
- cash deposits for general purpose savings, with no fixed deposit term
- It is in the mutual interest of the Bank and the client to use a savings account instead of a savings book
- transfer of funds from and to the term deposit account
- since no deposits/withdrawals are possible to and from a term deposit account, a sight deposit account will be opened to this end. After term expiry, due interest and principal will also be transferred to the sight deposit account.
The savings account holder can authorize another natural person to dispose of funds in the account.
