The savings account offers a range of benefits over the outdated savings book:
- higher interest rate
- faster and better fund management:
- withdrawals at the branch or at the Bank’s ATM, free of charge
- cash withdrawals at the ATM of another bank in Croatia or abroad, at a defined charge
- payment for goods and services at points of sale or service, free of charge
When the account is opened, the Bank issues a Maestro card to the client and generates a PIN, the secret personal identification number, which enables the client to manage funds in the account. The account is a savings account, without a regular income, which means that no overdraft is permitted.
